For a long time, the buzzword in digital marketing has been content marketing. How many times have you heard the terms "Content is King," "a good content strategy," "we need a content department," or "we need to hire a Content Marketer" in a conversation? With the launch of Hummingbird, a Google search algorithm, there is now a strong emphasis on content in search. Hummingbird strengthened long-tailed keywords by focusing on content optimization rather than just keyword optimization. Do consumers, on the other hand, really comprehend what content marketing is? What's more, why and how should they be doing it? Content marketing has taken on a new identity since we began working with SEO a few years ago. It was referred to as 'link building' at its most basic level. Even though we are now in 2019, we know that link building (in its old form) is terrible because gaining unrelated and authoritative links can only hurt a site's credit
Google Street View , launched in 2007, is a technology featured in Google Maps and Google Earth and provides panoramic views from positions along many streets in the world. Google cars around the globe take photos of pretty much everything, with the result being funny, embarrassing or even dramatic at time. Here are some of the best, worst and unexplained moments captured by Google's cameras: The famous 'Horse Boy' from Aberdeen, Scotland. Very weird, from Japan. A 'quiet' village in Colombia. Can't find a caption for this... Priceless! Busted on camera! The typical women fight in Russia. A drink too many? When that time comes... Perfect timing! This is believed to be a fake. Flying? Another great moment to fall! Even crows eat pizza. Yes, very secret. Not everyone loves Google!
I love this stuff!  Just imagine...an ordinary morning...you go and take your car to go to work and instead you find a Jeep Renegade. Jeep, not new with these type of marketing, and with the assistance of some Juventus players, came up with a cool stunt and transformed  overnight  all cars on the same road into a Jeep. Check the reaction of the owners when they found what happened to their cars the following morning.
As you might have seen already, very recently, both the Royal Oman Police and the Dubai Police released a video to showcase their capabilities. Two different approaches; the Dubai Police in an ongoing effort to get closer to the people,  especially tourists,  keeps showing off their amazing fleet of amazing super-cars  (I already blogged about it some time ago; read it  here ) .  Check the Dubai Police latest James Bond style video below: The Royal Oman Police went a different way; probably less glamorous and definitely less expensive but also quite cool, especially if targeting the youth of Oman which is the vast majority of the population. As someone said, the ROP video would make an awesome Playstation game! Agree.
The Ice Bucket Challenge, sometimes called the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge , is an activity involving dumping a bucket of ice water on one's head to promote awareness of the disease amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and encourage donations to research. Currently the ALS Association has received $53.3 million in donations compared to $2.2 million during the same time period last year. Donations have come from existing donors and new donors. Thanks to social media the activity went viral this year when many celebrities across the world joined the initiative, surely you must have seen some recently. Of course ordinary people joined the cause too and this is the result...
The two Australian hockey players could not believe their eyes when they saw that their selfie taken during the Commonwealth Games in Great Britain was photobombed by Queen Elisabeth II. Photobombing, I just learnt, is when a photograph is spoiled by the unexpected appearance of an unintended subject in the camera's field of view as the picture was taken. Awesome photobombing Her Majesty!
When was the last time you took a photo, or a selfie, with a policeman? You've surely seen or heard about the Dubai police 'supercar' fleet. Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Audi, Ferrari, Bentley and their latest addition, a $1.6 million Bugatti Veyron. Is this how they’re trying to catch super criminals? No, it’s a PR tactic to bring the police corp closer to the people, locals and tourists, and it seems to be working well. The super cops drive around their super cars only in several tourist attractions where people can take photos with them and their cars.  Great stuff!
His name is Kirill Oreshkin and he’s known as the Russian Spider-Man.   The Moscow based photographer takes his photos without any safety, and sometimes his friends are with him. The tallest building he's climbed is Moscow's Mercury City Tower, which is the tallest building in Europe at 338 meters high. Crazy Brave guy! Love selfies? If you read blogs in Oman you certainly know Muscat Confidential , also known as the Undercover Dragon, and you must have wondered who was writing the best and the most interesting blog in Oman until sometime ago when he/she left the country. I sort of started trying to find out his identity and with time I really got into it. But I always failed. I did some research and learnt how to bypass proxy servers and build Tor circuits. I used intermediate nodes and avoided rendezvous points. I tried everything but always failed. The Undercover Dragon definitely knows his/her stuff. When everything seemed a huge waste of time I was suddenly able to acquire the encryption keys and algorithm seeds. From then on it was easy; I managed to decrypt the traffic between the exit node and the target server, and found the network identity.   At this point I had the network identification and location address, and finally got the name of this person and even the Facebook profile (I could not believe my e
As the plane was going down Ferdinand Puentes and the rest of the passengers jumped out of the plane just offshore of Kalaupapa, Molokai, and survived.   Fortunately, after floating for what seemed like hours, Puentes and the rest of the people on board were picked up by the Coast Guard.   This must be the selfie of the year!
